Occupational Therapy

What’s it all about?

Occupational therapy is about helping kids develop the skills they need to perform everyday activities.
Some examples of these activities might include:
The goal is usually to address specific challenges relating to sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, visual motor skills, and cognitive abilities.

How does this therapy work?

Based on your kid’s unique needs, we may use a variety of techniques, exercises, and play-based activities to help them improve their skills and independence.
We may also collaborate with you (the parents or caregivers), your child’s teachers, and other professionals (e.g. other medical experts that your child is seeing) to create a comprehensive and coordinated approach to your kid’s development and well-being.
Our ultimate goal is for your child to become as independent and successful as possible in all areas of their life!
